SHU HUA
Welcome to my academic portfolio!
During studying Fashion Management at Nottingham Trent University, I continued to hone my skills in research, analysis, marketing, merchandising and product forecasting by completing individual research projects, team assignments and live presentations. I also developed my communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset and team spirit.
Below are my projects that demonstrate my learning and prepare me to enter the fashion buying field!

01
LOUNGE UNDERWEAR :
International expansion and product range building
I have authored a report analyzing Lounge Underwear's current product line and have developed a new product series set to launch in China. The report provides comprehensive market research and analysis of the brand as a whole.
02
Business Plan
I wrote a business plan to create a brand called VogueVault, an apparel rental subscription service for the Chinese market, focusing on luxury and designer brand products. Its core concept is to give people more access to high-end brands rather than owning them, thus providing individuals with the opportunity to explore different styles without having to make the long-term commitment that comes with purchasing luxury goods. It promotes the transition of the fashion industry to a sustainable circular economy by extending the lifespan of high-quality garments through the leasing cycle, and helps to create a greener, more sustainable future by facilitating the sale of fashionable rentals and second-hand garments.

03
Live project
As part of a collaborative project, we have planned the introduction of the American Vintage brand to the city of Nottingham in the UK, conducting comprehensive analysis and creative planning.
04
Research report
